Using bold colors and many layers of inks, collaged elements, pastels, spray paint, arcrylic, and oil, I celebrate the unique idiosyncrasies that make us each one of a kind. My mixed media paintings explore creativity in its purest form - strong, visceral, and electrifying - showing how it empowers our identity. The central themes in my work are inner strength, individuality, and finding presence in life’s experiences. These themes are mirrored in my painting process, as I create meaning and shape from chaos, emphasizing individuality and resilience.

Ultimately, my goal is to paint a dream that sparks curiosity within the subconscious. Through that curiosity, I hope to inspire a sense of individuality, vision, and purpose, encouraging viewer to treat their life as a canvas, where the impossible can come to life.”

The portraits I create do not feature celebrities or famous figures.  Instead, they personify emotions and different seasons of life, and answer the question “if this experience were a person, what would they look like?” I intentionally paint women with a universal appearance in abstract, dream like settings, inviting the viewer to connect with them and find their own story within the artwork.

Testimonials

It’s an honor to support your art and to have had our emotional frequencies resonate around your work. It will help me heal with every viewing. I have been redeemed recently in a sudden, surprising manner. This was a cosmically serendipitous “meant to be” shared transactional experience. - J.H.

Anna made the process easy and accessible, ensuring that my experience was nothing short of exceptional. Not only was the transaction seamless, but the art itself has transformed my living space entirely. What’s truly remarkable is how these pieces of art have become more than just decorations; they are conversation starters, mood setters, and an integral part of the fabric of my home. The value these paintings have added to my life goes beyond the aesthetic; they have a palpable, calming energy that resonates with everyone who experiences them. - L.N.

about the artist

Anna 's pursuit of art began as soon as she could hold a pen. As a young adult, she created album covers and posters for various bands she performed in as well as other musicians in the United States. This was ultimately what inspired her interest in pursuing art professionally in 2020. To this day music is a strong influence on her work.

Anna specializes in mixed media and oil painting- each painting has at least 40 layers of ink, pastel, spray paint, collaged elements, arcrylic paint, and oil paint. Her beautifully chaotic paintings explore themes of struggle and renewal, and celebrate idiosyncrasies and experiences that make us one of a kind. Mixing elements of abstract expressionism, surrealism, and a hint of street art, her paintings have been described as dreamy, vibrant, and empowering. She describes her work as “pretty paintings with gritty themes.”

She has participated in solo and group exhibitions including KORE Gallery (Louisville, KY), Rockwall Gallery (Nashville, TN), and Red 225 Gallery (Nashville, TN).  She participated in Superfine Art Fair in April 2023 and April 2024, and The Other Art Fair in May 2024 and was The Graduate Hotels’ artist in residence in 2024.
